So I'm going to be a godmother. My friend Sue's sister Aimee is having her third child tomorrow and she was trying to figure out godparents, but has run out of Catholics. I can relate as I'm already running out, myself. Anyway, Aimee and Sue thought of me since they've known me at least since we were all in Brownies together, if not earlier, and I'm apparently more trustworthy than other potential candidates that they're actually related to.
This means that I have to get a letter from my church and I hope they're not going to be overly strict about it since I haven't been in attendance much since Nora was born, and only slightly more than that before she was born.
But then again, whose to say that I haven't been going, but just haven't been using my envelopes? Right? I'm just saying...
