i'm so glad that hockey will be back. i didn't realize how much i'd miss it, even if the majority of this country didn't even notice or care. one more reason why i'm more canadian than american, i guess.
anyway. i wonder about the cost of this lockout. downtown businesses have a hard enough time in buffalo without losing a whole year of reasons for people to be down there spending money. and the Empire Sports Network has sadly disappeared. so now that hockey is back, who will be playing my sabres games on tv? well, i may be watching a lot more of the candian teams this coming season, which is fine with me. i loves me my leafs, and what i've truly missed is Don Cherry on Hockey Night in Canada with all his crazy suits.
