Bop it!

so we just got a whole bunch of new games at the clubhouse where i work. amongst them was this thing called Bop It! it's kind of a new-fangled version of Simon. there are four different kinds of levers or whatever. there's "pull it,", "twist it," "flick it," "spin it," and in the middle is a pad for "bop it." it basically tells you which thing to do in a completely random order and you have to do it within a very quick timeframe. the guy whose voice they used is pretty annoying and he makes fun of you when you get a low score. he screams when you make a mistake. it's bizarre. and also highly addicting. pretty much all the staff is totally obsessed with it and we were competing the whole day with the kids. one kid in particular is really good at it. she and i were going back and forth all day with the high score. at the end of the day, though, i was the supreme Bop It champion with a score of 140. but i'm sure this competition is not over yet. one of the teens is trying to beat me, too.

I love Bop It
we once played Drink Bop It... which is not necessarily a good idea, once you start losing, you really start losing...

i too love bop it
we used to play over at detention all the time during our down time
we had a couple kids really kick at it
drinking bop it sounds like a blast
even more so than playing a few hands of asshole
which is also fun
but i dont think playing drinking bop it would be a good idea at detention
since most of those kids are in some sort of 12 step program or something

i'll bring it home some weekend and we can try out drinking bop it. incidentally, that game can sound kinda dirty unintentionally. our clubhouse director referred to it as the twist it, pull it, yank it game yesterday. it was very wrong.
