Still waiting to hear...
I had myself settled down for a bit because I figured it sorta made sense that we didn't hear yesterday. I mean, the birth family wouldn't have gotten the files until yesterday morning and I'd want to give someone at least 24 hours to think on it. So I was cool this morning.
That being said, I did call Adoption STAR this morning around 10 to see if they had an idea of a timeline. I was told I'd be hearing about it today. It is now 1:00 and I'm no longer settled down. I'm officially wired.
Been trying to do mindless tasks today, but I keep having computer problems, which is not helping my irritability level.
I think I need to eat my damn lunch and then my co-worker and I are going to go for a walk around Delaware Park in our matching Payless version Shape Up sneakers. Must.Burn-off.Energy.
