so i had my interview this morning at Community Missions in Niagara Falls. could go either way depending on who i'm up against. i'm weak in the area of experience with residential facilities. seems like a good agency to work for (i asked about their turnover rate and it holds up well in management) and a good job at a good rate of pay. but i'm still not entirely sure it's what i want to do and i really want to find something for the much longer run. i'd love to do schools and/or college stuff, but that's some hard shit to get, especially since i don't have that higher ed admin degree that everyone and their mother has around here because there's so many schools that offer that program. so i don't know.
i had decided unrelated to this interview that i really didn't feel like going to work today, so i didn't. i came up with something reasonable as an excuse and skipped out on one of those stupid director's meetings to boot. spent the day watching "Clerks" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" while i cleaned the turtle tank and my bathrooms. finally get to see "Napoleon Dynamite" when sheila brings it over tonight. woo hoo!
and also, i think my Transitions lenses darkened a wee bit today on the drive home from the Falls. i even had to put the visor down in the car.
