Big Girl Bed

Success!  We painted Nora's new room Cookie Monster blue.  We got her new big girl bed delivered and set up.  John made a set of stairs so she can safely climb in and out of the excessively high big bed (it's got storage).  But she wasn't wanting to even step foot in the room, because she's wary of new things.  But last night we were going to move things like clothes and toys in there and she got all into moving stuff, too.  And before we knew it, she was bringing in all the things she has in her bed and insisting that she was going to sleep in her new bed.  I was in disbelief and figured she'd change her mind, but she did indeed sleep in there last night.  We'll see if it lasts, but I'm thinking the old bed needs to quietly disappear while she's asleep sometime. 

Oh, and I'm glad for the shortening of daylight for the time being because we don't have her curtain rod up yet and her curtains are on backorder so the blinds will have to do for now.

I really was going to be girly and go for purple, but she stated firmly that she wanted blue.
