So we had fun on the trip.  Nora liked the ocean, though she didn't want to be in it.  She just wanted John to hold her while he was in it.  I got to see dolphins on Easter.  But I'm still glad to be home where it's not so damn hot (not helped by the fact that my grandmother keeps her house set at 77 degrees). 

Nora was a champ all the way through.  She was tired a lot from staying up late every night and missing naps when flying and experiencing a ton of new things, but she held it together pretty well.  I really have to hand it to her. 

But it was indeed tiring for us to try to keep up with her.  I think another major vacation like this will wait a few years.

hey there. :) Glad your vacation went well. I for one LOVE the heat, and envy your hot weather experience. Virginia was fun, but sadly the weather there was about the same as Vermont weather, this past week. How IS that possible?? :)

I know I hate hot weather more than most people, and it was in the upper 80s at least, but the major problem I have with Florida is that it is sooooooooooooooooo humid. All the time. And it was a lot worse at my grandmother's than it was when we were at St. Pete. Like, we left the hotel and I was having a really good hair day. Then I got to my grandmother's and after unloading the car and going out to get groceries, it got all curled up and funky from the humidity. It was pretty grossly moist.
