Interesting Product Recall

I'm on the listserv for CPSC product recalls, just because kid stuff gets recalled so frequently anymore.  One of the things on today's recall list was a giant Hallmark snow globe, because of fire hazard.  We were thinking that maybe it was like the battery operated one that Nora has so I clicked on the link to read more. 

It says, and I quote, "When exposed to sunlight, the snow globes can act as a magnifying glass and ignite nearby combustible materials, posing a fire hazard."

I don't know why, but this just amuses me.

So, doesn't that mean ALL snowglobes are a fire hazard?

You would think so, but two people happened to complain about this one.
