I'm super dentist phobic, to the point that I haven't been in such a long time that I am not going to admit how long it has been.  But I feel that I need to set a good example for Nora and get back on the saddle so that she can be comfortable going to the dentist.  So I made an appointment for next Thursday.  I researched for days on where I wanted to go and checked out a lot of dentist websites.  I'm amazed at the technology that some of these places have so I pretty much cut out anyone who was still using old methods.  We don't have dental, but our health insurance has a small deal with some providers so I picked someone off the list who has some new technology, states that they're trying to keep costs down for clients, and also emphasized that they try to make it as painless as possible.  Fine.  It's worth me driving to Kenmore for all of that.  Now to deal with the knots in my stomach that I already have just thinking about it for the next week...

Good luck! Finding the right dentist is so important. I think that makes ALL the difference.
