We went to Sears last night to look at refrigerators.  Turns out this is going to be tricky because we have the most absurdly shaped fridge cubby in our kitchen.  We had this problem with our stove, too.  Idiots built this house, I swear.  So this is going to take longer than I had hoped.  Also, in terms of delivery and installation, we're trying to find the best price that doesn't require us opening an account somewhere, and since I want an ice maker, the waterline installation should prove to be interesting.

But we were there long enough last night that Nora didn't get her bath before bed.  No problem, I'll just do it in the morning, right?  Nope.  The water was out when I got up this morning.  No bathing for any of us.  And this is the third water main break in just the past week alone.  Awesome.

The water did come back on about ten so I hurried up to get Nora into her bath before her morning nap.  Except then she peed on the bathroom rug between taking her diaper off and getting her in the tub.  More awesomeness.

I should really go hop in the shower before Nora does something else crazy like wake up early from her nap.

We buy our appliances from sears, because they almost always have deals for free delivery and installation. Plus, their sale prices are as good as or better than other places. We had to open up a credit card with them in order to get a lot of their rebates, though. We didn't love the idea, but knew we would pay it off the first month. So, now we just keep the credit card to use when we buy appliances.

Good luck with the fridge purchase.

We are not lucky enough to have local places with good deals that ALSO deliver for free. Just one of the many downsides of living so far removed from everything. :( But we are the same with our credit card. We have a chase rewards mastercard that we charge everything to and hate using any other card. We made an exception for sears, because we knew we would be buying several appliances over the next few years.

What the eff is up with your water all the time? It's like you live in the yuppie projects or something.

I totally feel you on the weird fridge space. We have to have one that is slightly smaller than normal because of that. So irritating that everything in our house is mini.
