All right, I did think it was a stretch that our fridge would all of a sudden just get cold, but apparently that is actually what happened.  We haven't been able to successfully thaw it or find the correct setting that maybe we had it on or whatever, so John got hold of his mom on her vacation this morning to ask her if she messed with the settings at all.  Turns out she didn't, and furthermore, that when their previous fridge died, this is exactly what it did prior to completely kicking the bucket.  Awesome.  We knew we needed a new fridge sometime soon due to leakage, but we were hoping to hold out until Christmas.  Instead, it appears we will be doing some fridge shopping tonight.  Yay for extra expenses we don't have money for.  Meanwhile, we can't stop our milk from freezing!!!!

At least having everything frozen gives you a day or two more than if everything was spoiling.

Ugh. I hate when appliances break. We just had to buy a new washer. We used money we had been saving to buy furniture.

Too bad you don't have more time to shop around. Good luck!

...it won't help much, but I think I have a Best Buy Appliance discount somewhere.
