We still have no power.  We still have an outrageous amount of tree limbs in our yard.  We did have a wee bit of flooding in the basement before we could hook up my parents' generator to the sump pump.  We did lose whatever was in the fridge and freezer.  I'm totally sick of canned soup.  I know we're lucky in that we had no damage to the house, we have a gas fireplace we can use for at least a little heat, and our stovetop is gas so we are able to cook a bit.  But in most of the house, it's freezing, the lack of civilazation is a bit of a drag, once it gets dark after 7 you just want to go to bed for lack of anything else to do.  We hooked up a TV last night to the generator for an hour just so I could watch the Amazing Race.  We're on again tonight for Heroes.  Steve, our neighbor, has been joining us.  His wife took the kids to her parents' place in Michigan until the power comes back up, which is looking more and more like it won't be until this weekend.  Gah!

On the plus side, I'm currently watching last night's finale of "Flavor of Love" that I wasn't able to watch last night.  My mom seems to be mystified by the show.
