the best part of the story about Dick Cheney accidentally shooting his millionaire friend while they were hunting quail, is that he had a medical team that travels with him everywhere he goes that attended to this guy AND he had an ambulance on call that was able to arrive quickly.

now the idea of dick cheney having an ambulance on call at all times still has me giggling, but it got me thinking. the president has to undergo a physical each year and the results are then announced to the country. why doesn't the vice president have to do that? i mean, we know he's got a heart condition, but what's cheney hiding?

and then it occured to me. i think he's part machine. like darth vader.
