We had great success selling a couch and matching end tables on Craigslist, so we figured we'd try again with a couple items left over from the garage sale.  Here's what I'm finding mind boggling about the current experiences:  People have no communication skills whatsoever OR they are just outrageously rude.  I mean, don't e-mail me initially to say you're interested and then not respond at all when I e-mail you back.  That just doesn't make any sense.  Also, don't say you're going to come by if you're really not.  And one more thing, if we're primarily communicating via e-mail and you know you won't be checking your work e-mail in the evenings and over the weekend when we're supposed to be meeting, let me know so I can provide you with an alternate way to get hold of me or give me a way to get hold of you in case something comes up.  Idiots.

Incidentally, we did finally unload one of the items yesterday.  I have a couple more people to check in with on the other item since the seemingly normal woman who was supposed to come by did not.  However, I've already gone through several people on that one.  It's a really small playhouse thing that works for no age group because it's too short for kids who are walking age - my mom picked it up last year at a garage sale.  I got a lot of response initially, but then when they find out how small it is, they bail.  Or never reply.  If this doesn't work out, I'm contemplating putting it to the curb in the hopes that someone will just take the damn thing.  I only want $15 for it and that is so not worth the time and energy I'm putting into this.
