 John just told me that George Carlin died.  Now I was bummed about Tim Russert because he seemed like a good guy who loved his hometown, but I am genuinely truly, truly upset about this.  I was a huge fan of George Carlin's and I'm disappointed that I could never afford to see him when he came to town.

I mean, I can take it all in perspective. He was 71, had a history of heart problems, and probably didn't live the cleanest life going, but it's tough to hear regardless.
