Okay, I know I've posted a lot today, but Nora keeps being amusing.  

We've been trying not to expose her to a lot of TV.  It's on in the mornings when I watch the Today Show for a bit and occasionally she's exposed to the Daily Show or Colbert if I watch it in the morning.  Other than that, she only sees a few things here or there, but we try to keep it to a minimum.  She really pays little to no attention to it at all.  She goes about her business of playing.  I only noticed her really paying attention once recently because there was a commercial on with a dog, and when that was done, she went back to playing. 

Today while I was making dinner, John suggested we throw in my Muppet Show Season 1 DVD.  We'd been outside all day so I agreed.  Nora was already sitting on the couch with John enjoying sitting on the couch with her daddy.  The Muppet Show started and John pointed it out to her.  From that point on, she was hooked.  She was just totally enthralled with the Muppets.  And of course, given her love of dogs, was overjoyed with Rowlf the dog.  She saw maybe about 15-20 minutes before we turned it off for dinner, and she just sat and watched it the whole time.  

I'm a little fearful of the attention she paid the tube, but at least she has good taste in shows.

Yay, great taste! I had that DVD out of the library a couple weeks ago and loved that it was generally safe to watch around Sam-- he was sometimes interested, sometimes not, which is pretty much how he always is about TV. He gets interested when there's music on it, and he's really interested in the remote control (which he seems to have figured out), but not in WATCHING which I guess is a good thing!

You forgot to mention that she was actively expressing her excitement over Rowlf. She pointed to the screen and say "daug" every time he appeared.
