this girl i work with at my clubhouse came in with the absolute best pair of shoes i have ever seen in my life. perhaps i exaggerate, but they were awesome shoes, indeed. the best part was that she bought them for five bucks at Payless. so on my way home today, i decided to try to find a pair. it being the christmas shopping season, i figure i'll head over to a Payless on Sheridan in a never busy plaza. i searched high and low, but they didn't have them. hmmm. well, the mall is down the street, so what the hell. i actually went to the damn Boulevard Mall during christmas shopping season. and they still didn't have the damn shoes. guess i'll try the Eastern Hills Mall if i get a chance tomorrow morning (instead of going to the stupid work holiday breakfast - ha!), but i definitely don't want them enough to try the Galleria. i'm an idiot, but i'm not a total idiot.
