Got a birthday package today, and yes, Julie, I did open it early.  Like you didn't know I would.  

But I had picked it up on my way to class so when I got stuck in traffic, I opened up the box, moved a couple pieces of paper and discovered the head of Elmo, which both freaked me out and made me laugh so hard that I nearly rear ended the truck in front of me.  I presume this is the remnant from Julie's birthday pinata.  I appreciate sharing the love of a good Elmo beatdown.

Nora, by the way, loves this Elmo head.  She instantly wanted it and has been slowly pulling little red pieces of crepe paper off of it.  

And in case anyone was curious, I did get more than just an Elmo head for my birthday, but really, isn't that enough?

Of course the Head of Elmo is a wonderful present by itself, but I thought it would be good protection for some of the other goods. There it was, sitting on my desk - I had to share.
