I need technology help

I'm having mouse problems with our desktop.  Sometimes it just doesn't want to work.  I've tried putting it in various ports.  I've tried rebooting the computer.  I've tried all of the above with a completely different mouse.  But sometimes it just doesn't want to work.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

It could be that you need to get updated drivers for the mouse (I'm assuming that its a mouse you plug in a USB port). You could try going to http://www.usb-drivers.com/ and looking for a driver that matches your mouse and version of windows.

Ooh, thanks. That could be helpful. I panic whenever anything remotely goes wrong with the computer during the height of the semester.
