Little did I know this time last year that I'd be going into labor in the middle of the night.  

The wee monkey has been going through one of her daddy only phases this week.  This seems to happen when he's off for a few days and is around a lot more.  He can't leave the room, even if I'm in it, without her getting upset.  Though she is less upset by a smidge if he explains that he is leaving the room and will be right back.  This is a trick I have to use when she does this to me at times when it's just the two of us home.   That and how easy to console she is when we come back are all good signs of proper attachment at this age, but it can be a bit of a pain sometimes.  I mean, I don't frequently get to pee by myself.  That's a luxury I gave up one year ago.

She's got a thing for the color blue lately.  She will find one toy that she walks around with all day long and refuses to let go of.  It may vary, but one thing remains consistent - it's something blue.  And boy does she love blueberries, but I suspect that's unrelated.

Well, if she likey the Blue Orange is it's compliment. So me hopes she doesn't CHUCK! the l'il Lemon.

PS: I am entirely too excited about this. I am also amused by the fact that Mike plans on eating the entirety of HIS cake at 1:00AM when he gets home from work,
