Spirited Out

we finally got a tree and got it decorated and we have only suffered one dog related casualty, but it's merely an ornament injury that can be repaired. of course, there's not a lot of point by now since we're going away next week, but we have a week of holiday spirit, i guess.

meanwhile, we're still sorting through and handing out toys at work, and i can't begin to tell you how irritated i am at people who come in for free stuff and then complain about what we give them. trust me, we sorted through piles of crap to find decent stuff to give out. and then to complain about how we don't have stuff for teens. ugh! first of all, it's called toys for tots, damn it! not teens. second of all, when they came in to fill out the forms, we told them straight up that it was really for kids 12 and under. so don't bitch at me about how we didn't have anything for your 17-year-old. please.

I think that 17 year-old can get a part time J-O-B and buy his own presents. And what's wrong with people who don't understand the meaning of NEW, unwrapped toys? Why do they think their used crap would interest people who have nothing? Like they're not good enough for NEW? People suck. Ho Ho Ho.
