Anyone remember back in May when I had to call the SPCA to rescue some ducklings that had fallen through the sewer grate, but the mother left with the babies before the last one was rescued and then they couldn't find the mother again and I wasn't sure how it turned out?
I got a postcard in the mail from the SPCA yesterday saying thank you for helping them rescue the mallard duck and that it was rehabilitated and released to the wild in June. I'm guessing they couldn't find the mom and had to take care of it until it was old enough to take care of itself. Not sure why it took them so long to send this postcard, but I'm glad to know.
