I'll put the whole Sweeney Todd thing to rest by merely saying that it was wondrously disturbing as only Tim Burton and Johnny Depp can do.

The real hero today is John.  He alone knows just how much I love Nora, but really struggle with being home with her so much, and also struggle with juggling all my responsibilities.  I'm both cabin fevered and uber stressed out.  So if there was one thing I could magically ask for this year for Christmas, it would be time.  And if there was a second thing, it would be some of that extra time to myself.  So this little gift from John was pretty much both of those things in one.  Now I'm not one who likes to be overly emotional, but I have been weepy all afternoon at how awesome this was.  Plus making that little straight razor "time coupon" is an example of the creative genius I often admire.

The moral of the story is that my husband rocks.

I was going to tell you earlier that if you didn't know it already, you are truly doubly blessed with that pair. ; )

I only hope I'm that lucky someday.

I think gifts like those are SO much better than anything that can be purchased.

Incidentally, I have not seen a movie in a movie theater in FIVE years. I might take Jacob this week to see Water Horse. It's not Sweeney Toddy, but I am really excited!

That is very cool. I wish my husband would pick up the hint that I need a gift like that.
