Nora has been wanting to stand unassisted for a while now. I found some good hand-me-down and garage saled toys stored in the basement that are a good height for her to stand against. She's been needing some spotting still as she's not that skilled at it just yet (I won't even discuss the spill she took onto the hardwood floors while we were in Vermont when some bearded guy looked away for just long enough for her to fall over). But now she's pulling herself up and when we're across the room, we have to go dashing over there before she tumbles over. Thus, I constantly need to be right next to her, which is a little frustrating for me.
And with the joy of developmental changes comes the dent in sleep. Her nap this morning was a whopping 45 minutes before she pulled herself up to standing in the crib and started screaming. Awesome.
She's chewing on binders on the bookshelf. I bet there's a nice layer of dust on them. And I suppose there's always the possibility of lead. Hmm.
