With having to switch the clocks back this weekend, we're following the method in one of my books of starting to move Nora's schedule by 15 minutes every day for a few days.  If I hadn't read that, I honestly wouldn't have even thought of it until it was right upon us.

She's super mobile at this point.  She's not exactly crawling in the traditional sense, but I guess he's doing what people refer to as the army crawl.  In any case, she gets where she wants to go, and can do so quickly.  Especially if it involves sticking something of the dog's into her mouth.  As a result, Beezley's bowls have been moved to the kitchen area from the family room where she is usually allowed to free range.

I guess she wouldn't take an afternoon nap at all yesterday at daycare so she wound up sleeping through most of the trick-or-treaters last night.  Makes me feel better that I missed it, too.  Stupid midterm.

But with midterms now done, I have to work on all the reading and research that goes into my final projects.

Oh, and start figuring out Christmas presents so we can take the ones for John's family with us at Thanksgiving and get Julie and Andy theirs when they'll be here, too.  This may not actually happen this year, but we can give it a shot, I suppose.

I think I have that book. I was trying to keep Sammy up later, but my mother-in-law always ends up putting him to bed early when I'm at work mon and thurs and it throws the whole thing off.

Ah, no, I guess I don't have that book, but I read that advice in the column in one of the parenting magazines that the author writes! I really like her column because she has such a balanced approach to sleep issues, not vehemently advocating one "side" of the issue or another.

Dan and I took Zack to daycare around 11 on Halloween. We saw Nora in her cute outfit! She was rolling up a storm on the mat with Gabby. I wish Zack would take a lesson. He's gonna walk before he rolls over.
