The downside of procreating with someone as tall as John is that your child then proceeds to grow out of everything at an alarming rate.  It finally got cold around here and I was all excited to dress her in these wonderful outfits I have for her.  Except that she's too long for most of them.  Now had Mother Nature cooperated and started giving me a proper Fall when she was supposed to, she'd have been able to wear them a couple times already and I wouldn't be so heartbroken.  But no.  I already have to pack up new outfits, and I'm super bummed about it.  

And seriously, she's 6 1/2 months and having to start wearing 12 month clothes.  She hasn't even reached the minimum weight listed on some of these 9 month outfits.  

By the way, checked my medical records, and I didn't get to be her length at 6 months until I was 10 months.  I'd love to get my hands on John's for comparison.

Other than growing like a string bean, she's scooting around in reverse.  She can turn herself around easily, and then sort of moves around backwards to get to her destination.  She only ever seems to get on both hands and knees when we put her down for bed at night - I have no idea why this is the case, but it's funny.

Check back a couple entries. I posted one of her sitting up. It's from not even a week ago and she's in a sundress. At least those still fit. ;)
