Oh. My. God.  I'm going to tear my hair out if Nora's teeth don't cut soon.  And it's hurting her to suck so eating has been not so great.  And the ibuprofen seems to be bugging her tummy on top of it so I guess we're going back to Tylenol.

the good news? Jacob is getting his six year old molars, and we didn't know until he went to the dentist... so at SOME point they stop hurting. :)

Even if they bother her the next time, what are the chances that they will bother her THIS much?

It does get better. All of a sudden, a tooth will pop through, and her whole disposition will improve. Hang in there, until then. :)

head to Wegmans if you can. Ask the Pharmacist for Hurricane. It's non prescription but they keep it behind the counter. Dentists use is before they stick you with the needles for novnovicane but it's completely safe to use on kids. Plus it has this weird Watermelon flavor.

There are some over the counter meds which the FDA thinks are too strong for the general public. But yet they can't make them prescriptables because of their chemical make up. So they do things like make you ask a Pharmacist for it so they can make sure you aren't using too much of the shit and it also keeps it out of the hands of every Tom, Dick and Harry.

As always, read the package or check with your Peds. Cos the stuff is potent and you'll only need a smidge to make the owies go away. I put some of the stuff on my lip when my Neice was teething just to see what it did. I was drooling for the next 3 hours.
