Nora has gotten to be quite a conversationalist.  I have no idea what she's saying, but she likes to talk a lot.  I wonder where she got that from.  In fact, she can hold up both ends of the conversation quite well.  For example, she has this stuffed frog we had registered for that's about the same size as her.  I'll have it face her while we're chilling on the couch together.  She'll grab his head or his hands or even give him a big hug, all the while she just chats away and occasionally tries to chew on him.  It's hysterical.

In What to Expect the First Year, each month there's a list of things a baby should be doing or probably is doing or may possibly be doing.  She's doing all the shoulds and most of the probablies and possiblies except for the freaking rolling.  I know I was uber late in doing absolutely everything when I was a baby and this isn't even late at all, but I'm sick of hearing about all the babies in my birth communities that are rolling already, especially when I know that regular rolling will mean she can sleep on her tummy at daycare and be a more well rested baby (though once I start my classes, John will be the one having to take care of her grumpy little self on those particular evenings).

She's got her 4 month doctor's appointment on Thursday.  John kept forgetting to mark it down so he's not entirely sure he can leave work early to come with me, which means I might have to be the moral support for immunizations without having my moral support for the immunizations.  It's so hard to watch!  And she did have a low grade fever and some extra cranky after the last ones, but was also very sleepy.  I'm looking forward to getting the official height and weight.  I picked up a 25 cent very old baby scale at a garage sale Saturday and if it's accurate, she's about 14 lbs.  We've got her at around 24 inches long, but it's hard to say because she's so wiggly and hard to measure.

Jacob and Grace both rolled really early- like 2 months? But I had friend's whose babies didn't roll until 7 months! I hope Nora starts rolling soon. Maybe you should do some "rolling training workouts" with her. ;)
