...I dunno about that. Cos seriously? I'd say best toy ever are measuring cups and stock pots. When the nephews were little we could sit on the porch with a bottle of bubbles and 2 gallons of water till bed time. Granted, they were walking and talking by that point. Then the next best toy was a Sit 'n Spin.
But these are all things you have to look forward to next summer. : )
She would be pretty happy to just hold anything while shoving it in her mouth, really, but when she's in the mood to jump around, this thing really fulfills that need. I've never seen her smile so much and be so entertained for so long.
I did pick up a Sit 'n' Spin at a garage sale earlier this summer. I also bought a corn popper. I know it'll be a while before she can use them, but I was just pumped that they still make them.
The new Poppers totally aren't the same. Which bummed me out. Although I get over the whole new shiny sleek design when you give me one to start running with.
We finally got that recall voucher in the mail the other day and I had a Toys R Us coupon so I wound up buying the rainforest one for about $17. She loves it so much that I'm still keeping an eye out for a cheap one to have at my mom's or to keep packed for trips to the in-laws' or some such thing. I've seriously never seen her so in love with something, and she also has a deep fondness for mobiles.
Nora attempts to bounce on us, as well, which is why I had thought to get the jumperoo. I was not prepared for her to love it this much, though. It rules.
