Nora is at her first day of daycare today.  I had a little separation anxiety this morning after I left there, but I also have to admit that it's been nice not needing to hurry while doing things in case I need to drop everything.  I guess I'm only hurrying because I have a long cleaning agenda since I'm in trainings the rest of the week.  

I just spoke with the assistant director and as I unfortunately expected, Nora is sleeping in little spurts like usual when she's not tummy sleeping.  She often has a short evening nap right around when we're eating dinner and I suspect that on daycare days, that nap is going to get a little longer.  I'm not overly thrilled about that.

As mentioned in an earlier thread...(Aggravation)..it's almost always harder for the parent to adjust than it is for the infant to daycare.

Hang on tight cuz the ride only gets wilder! ;-)

Yeah, I figured even if I didn't need it right away, I'd want to have Nora in daycare two days a week starting soon anyway while she's still at that age that the transition would be a breeze. Once she gets a little older when I'd want her to go at least for socialization and some education is when kids get separation anxiety and if she's already used to daycare by then, it won't be a problem for her at all.
