Nora hasn't been into the swing much this week, making me glad that the expensive one got recalled and that we only paid $7 for this one.  When she sits on my lap lately, she's all into standing up and bouncing her little sausage legs.  So since her head control is good now, I'm going to borrow my neighbor's exersaucer when they get back from vacation and also try to find one for ourselves at a garage sale.  I also want to take our Fisher Price voucher that we're getting for the recalled swing (if we ever get around to mailing the damn thing in) to get a jumperoo.  Not one of the ones that you hang from a door because those scare me, but one that holds itself up.  I think she'll dig it.

Yes, but she probably will be old enough in about a month or so and it will likely take us that long to mail in the swing pad, get the voucher back, and actually go out and purchase a jumparoo.

I got a jumperoo at a garage sale for $2 - probably my best garage sale find. Zack LOVES it! It was really dirty from being in a barn but it cleaned up great.

Wow. And I thought my seven dollar swing was good. I'm on the lookout for that and/or an exersaucer, but I can't do the Friday garage sale circuit this week so maybe Saturday we can find something good. I have my mom on the lookout, too, but I don't think she knew what I was talking about.
