At baptism class last night, the deacon mentioned that today was Take Your Daughter to Work Day so I suggested to John that he take Nora in with him today.  Ha ha!  

Despite being her usual shrieky self while I was trying to eat breakfast like she does everyday, she's actually napping IN HER CRIB right now.  I have no idea how that happened, but I'm not complaining.  I am, however, bracing myself for the inevitable moment she wakes up screaming.  

Forgot to mention from her doctor's visit that her length is at the low end of average so perhaps we won't have a giantess like we always suspected we would.  My short genes may be holding their own against John's tall genes.  And yes, I do know it's really too soon to tell, but it's fun to speculate.

In my opinion, John really needs to show his commitment as a Dad early on. If it was Take Your Daughter to Work day, than AS A DAD WHO CARES he was clearly obligated to take Nora to work. Wow. He really dropped the ball on that one. ;) I guess it will have to wait until next year, when she is crawling/walking. Really, she can be more "involved" in his job by then. :)
