my sister, julie, has been in town this week for the holiday and it was decided that we would have a mini-christmas while she was up here. now it must be stated that julie is a bit of a mardi gras fanatic. she's been going every year for something like the past 6 years or so [correct me if i'm wrong on that one, julie] and this year sheila and i are going with, including marching in the elvis parade with her. i've already ordered a massive amount of light up jewelry products from the Oriental Trading Company, but now i'm really ready. because i received a huge box full of mardi gras stuff. feather boa, light up beads, turtle beads, classy homemade beads, a mask, a mask bedazzeled tatoo, earrings, and other stuff i just can't remember off the top of my head. there was even a present for sheila with a few mardi gras items, which rather impressed sheila since the two have never actually met yet. and for the both of us, wedding bubbles with stickers stating this year's Krewe of Elvis theme, Vive Las Vegas, for us to throw since we will be dressed as a bride and groom. now all i need to do is some minor sewing on my groom's pants, mardi gras costume, and a toga, plus find sheila a wedding dress.
