Well, as of today, this baby is officially full term.

I guess I'm a little tired of being pregnant so I'm all for going earlier than my due date.  I might even try the nasty raspberry leaf tea suggested by our childbirth educator.  Maybe.

I have to call this afternoon to get a sonogram scheduled for sometime in the next week or so.

I'm trying to convince the baby that it wants to drop down so I can feel like there's a possibility of us actually going early.  And I still think it might happen soon as the skin of my lower belly is itchy as all get out from stretching and I can feel the ligaments stretching like I could way back at the beginning of this seemingly endless ordeal.  Interestingly, while the belly stretch marks are still spreading, the ones on my boobs have already started to fade.

I was just saying how I haven't gotten any of those lovely Braxton Hicks contractions that I've heard so much about and then while the midwife was listening to the baby's heartbeat last night, she proclaimed that I had just had one.  But I swear I didn't even notice it so I find that odd.  She didn't seem overly concerned about it, though.

Meanwhile, there was good news in that I actually lost a pound this week and I tested negative for that Group B Strep test I mentioned previously.

T-minus three days

DOB March 25th, gender boy. (as predicted earlier)
March 29th is also quite possible as that is the anniversary of that traumatic bathroom experience I endured...and of course baby Gina's arrival!
