Maternity clothes can be pretty apalling (sp?), but they can also be quite nice and come in some of the most comfortable fabrics in the world.  So I have often wondered why normal women's clothing doesn't come in these fantastic fabrics.  

But now I'm wondering something else.  As I'm getting a few baby blankets and such things, and many of them are in the softest fabrics in the world, why can't I get blankets like this in grown-up size?  I mean, we received a blanket off our registry the other day and as I was unfolding it, I could barely put it down because it is the softest substance imaginable that a blanket could be made of.  And I want one just like it for me, damn it!

What is this wonderous substance? So far, the softest blankets I've found are that fluffy acrylic stuff that you can get at Wal-Mart. There's no way to describe how soft it is, but mom wants one after experiencing it's wonderfullness at our house.

Here's what the tag says:

82% Biconstituent Fiber (Polyester 80%,Nylon 20%)
18% Polyester

I don't exactly know what that means, but it's definitely working for them.
