TV trash at its finest

VH1 sort of slipped in the show I've been waiting for and I almost missed it starting.  But I accidentally stumbled upon a sneak preview last weekend of I Love New York, the Flavor of Love spinoff with that horrid New York as the person people are actually fighting over.  It may potentially be a funnier train wreck than even Flavor of Love was and even John couldn't tear himself away from last night's "mangeant."

That's why it's so damn funny. There are actually men trying to be with her. Though many of these guys are absolute, total tools! And her mom is on the show, which is always a good time.

I'm torn between being disgusted by her psycho pathetic-ness and a need to know just how desperate people can be to get on TV. I haven't seen it yet, but I know that's just because I haven't accidently run into it while channel surfing.

It's regularly scheduled time to be on is Mondays at 9, but be sure to try to catch it in re-runs because in the first two episodes, there have been some great train wrecks, and you have to see the guy that she eliminated this week who cries over EVERYthing.

I hate to even admit (especially in writing) that I actually watched Flavor of Love. I'm sure it was the train wreck aspect, and the fact that I thought he was hilarious and kind of sweet on The Surreal Life. But New York? No way will I ever put that little idiot on my TV again willingly. I just can't do it. Whoever ends up with her must deserve her for trying so hard, I guess.

I did, however, watch the first two episodes of Surreal Life Fame Games. (Yes, I'm ashamed!) Looks like Chyna Doll and Brigitte are going to be *good* friends! :-)

Oh, and I also saw the Fame Games. I was so not going to watch that one, but I got sucked in. Love Chyna and Brigitte together. Too, too funny.

A co-worker told me about I Love New York today and said I really need to watch it just for the humor factor. I'm still so horrified at what a ... YOU know what word I'm thinking of ... she was on Flavor of Love that I still don't think I'm going to tune in. But you never know what happens on a wild remote night! :-) I'll keep you posted.
