I had called the midwives yesterday to see if they had my results yet and they hadn't so I was just going to wait until our next appointment Wednesday anyway to worry about it. But they called today with the results.
The good news is that I don't have diabetes. The results for the first three blood draws were all right where they needed to be and those are the three very important ones.
However, my third one was high. Not sure why and it's a fairly odd result, but now they are going to make me go on a very strict diet. AND I may have to do other screenings in the future. Super.
I'm just very frustrated because I am trying so hard with my diet already.
Guess I'm not making that king cake this year. I can't figure out what I did last year with the king cake baby anyway.
