I'm officially unemployed. Had a good discussion with the big boss this morning and she was very understanding. I have not yet been able to get hold of my direct supervisor. I really had wanted to talk with her personally. I feel very bad about the whole situation, but I'd feel much worse if I stuck around and then bailed later.

Meanwhile, I don't know what I'm doing. Chillaxing and then I'll figure it out.

Congratulations. If you knew you didn't want to be there, then you ABSOLUTELY did the right thing, for all the reasons you already said, plus more. Enjoy your quiet time. The days of quiet will be ending soon! And I mean that almost completely as a positive thing. Sometimes, I just crave a quiet house. Sadly, whenever I have a quiet house, I miss the noise.

I actually have a decent amount of stuff to keep me busy. I'm still researching and trying to figure out my baby registry stuff and I have a lot of Christmas related items to make that should take me damn near forever. But when that's done, maybe I will finally get going on MySpace since everyone keeps hassling me about it.
