So I enjoy all the listings of things that are closed because the names of day care centers and Catholic schools amuse me. But my confusion lies with Our Lady of Pompeii church. Have no clue where that is in Western New York, but how could Mary have appeared to anyone in Pompeii? The city was destroyed before the birth of Christ. And no one really lives there now. When we were there, there was pretty much the ruins and the booths outside the ruins selling you postcards and animals supposedly made out of volcanic ash (I bought a turtle). So I'm a little mystified by Our Lady of Pompeii. I'll have to look that one up.
