don't rent "Alexander." not that i think there's a chance of that happening, but we figured, just how bad could it be?

clue number one was when the guy at Blockbuster looked at me and said, "Are you sure you want to rent this?" i hesitated, but explained that my husband really wants to because he's into epics, including, and especially, the bad ones. i mean, john wants to buy "Troy" for crying out loud. the clerk responds that i'll be back in an hour because that's all i'll make it through.

well, we did make it through all 2 hours and 47 minutes of the Director's Cut, but neither of us is entirely sure what the hell was happening at most points in that movie. what a mess! at least angelina jolie is kind of fun slithering around all over the place, but her accent seems rather Transylvanian to me. and since she's the only one even trying to have a greekish accent, i'm not sure why she bothered. everyone else was sticking with their american, english, irish, scottish, etc. accents.

thank god i did not give in and see this in the theater. at least i could do other stuff while it was on at home.

Crap. That movie is sitting on my living room floor. I got it Tuesday and wondered how lucky I was to get a new release so soon after it came out. So I figured it kind of stunk a little.

well, just don't let it be the only thing you're doing. you won't be able to concentrate on it anyway, even if you tried. multi-task.
