well, they're funny to me, anyway.
so we had very little time between montana and the wedding to unpack and repack. we're driving up to the wedding and john all of a sudden screams out, "oh shit!" turns out he forgot to pack pants for the rehearsal dinner. he suggested that he could wear his suit pants until i pointed out that his pants are pinstriped and the shirt he brought for the dinner was also striped. so he had to wear his khaki shorts with the shirt and, unfortunately, his sneakers because the dress shoes would not have gone with the shorts. we made a good joke out of it the whole night so kelly told him during the receiving line the next day that he looked good in pants.
james had some problems getting the right tie for his tux. they went back 3-4 times trying to get the correct one ordered for him. on the third try, the kid at the counter said to him, in all seriousness, "Never in my 7 months on the job, have i ever run into a problem like this." such sage wisdom.
so my turtle would have food while we were away all week, i bought him a dozen feeder guppies. he has eaten them in the past so i got them to supplement the plants. however, not only did he not eat them, but i discovered yesterday that one of them had babies. so now i have all these damn feeder guppies. i think i'll have to sneak them into mom's pond...
