john and i watch Average Joe on NBC religiously. however, we've been disappointed that in the first three, the girl always picked a hunk over the dork. finally, though, this season's girl actually picked the average guy. and he's the kind of guy i'd hang with, too, so i was happy. yay!!!

i feel that what the girls have always done is keep the dork guys at friend level, rather than looking at them as actual date material. with this one, i think she did that with one of the guys she took to tahiti, but she also took real date potential. the hunk that she kept she admitted was really just a shallow physical thing. and when she picked the dork, she smartly said that she couldn't make any promises, but wanted to see where things went from there.

i don't know if this makes a difference, but i didn't feel she was so supermodelly and came from a pretty humble background.
