nothing like a power outage on a 90 degree day.
do i really have to go to new hampshire this weekend?
our flight there includes two trips on the smallest planes ever. we're talking one seat in each row small. and it's supposed to be stormy.
i'd have driven if we were allowed to bring the dog. total species discrimination.
and don't even get me started on the in-laws, or the antiquated victorian home we'll be staying in where the hot and cold water don't come out of the same faucet and showers don't exist - only baths.
on the plus side, i can spend a few days without hearing endlessly about my brother not graduating and how it will be my fault that he's a mess if i'm not there every morning to get him up for summer school while the folks are on vacation. he turns 18 in less than half an hour. for better or for worse, the kid's an adult.
