made it through the weirdos in costume, got a good seat, and mike even showed up before i had to fight someone for the seats we were saving for him.

got a little bored in the first hour, but the rest was rather good. gave me all the answers i've been wanting.

oh, and lucas can't direct a love scene for nothing. but what else is new.

and that's all i'm saying because i don't want to ruin anything for anyone.

a very nice way to bring in john's birthday (happy birthday, dear!).

If Lucas felt he just HAD to add new movies to the originals, then this is the only one worth watching. I learned nothing from the "first" two - just got bored and creeped out by the whole child romance thing.

Like Godfather 3, I will never acknowledge those last two stinkers as part of their series.

yeah, i told mom that she didn't have to have seen the first two to really get what was going on in this one. both of them were on tv over the weekend. the second one wasn't so awful, and did provide at least a plot point or two towards the end. but that first one is just horrid and does absolutely nothing to further the story at all. it's just the worst movie. i forgot how bad it was until i saw it again. too kid oriented and lame.

that child romance thing has been disturbing all around. how did he age ten years and her not at all? and i still have yet to believe in any of the movies that they sincerely are in love with each other. not believeable in the least.
