i don't generally like normal beauracracy to begin with, but ignorant, pointless beauracracy is really just the worst.

also, i appreciate that my boss wants me to act independently. it's what i would like myself. but i'm not always given the tools to do so. sometimes when i try to be independent, i get yelled at for not clearing something first. yet when i need some sort of information or whatever, i feel like i'm being a nuisance for needing assistance, but i'm not a mindreader for crying out loud. sheesh.

i like my job when i actually get to do it. sometimes i'm just too busy with all the admin BS to do it.

When you find that perfect job without administrative BS, you let me know. I'll be in line right after you. Especially if it never has to deal with people's parents as an added bonus. (guess who?)

i'm not foolish enough to believe there's a perfect job out there or even just a perfect agency. i've been in enough places to know that one. but some are worse than others, that's for sure. (do i get a hint?)

oh, jeez, the hint was in the title...

well, with all the people i know that have to deal with beauracrats and parents, it could have been pretty much anyone. i honestly suspected it was my friend jackie because the title is totally something she would have said.
