We were contemplating getting a buggy board for our stroller so Nora could stand on it if she got tired and we were out and about somewhere with a baby. But for not much more money, we opted to get the Baby Trend Sit and Stand. It can hold the infant carrier and Nora can stand behind it if she wants, but it also has a seat for her. I like that option for her. It arrived on the day we found out we didn't get that placement and we were busy, so it sat there unopened for a few days. But it's all out and put together now. So we've got the stroller and the toddler for the jump seat. Now we just need that baby to put in the front.
And you'd think it would happen soon if for no other reason than that I've been joking that Nora will get the hang of this potty training business right about the time we get a placement so that she can regress in reaction to having a sibling. Ha!
But really, she is getting it down fairly well. She's been dry for about a month now. Well, there's one exception. We went to a crazy birthday party Saturday and it was really hot out so we let her have way too many Little Hugs to drink. She was on her way to the bathroom, and she didn't quite make it, but we cut her some slack after having all that sugar water. So essentially a month that she's been dry. And so far we're at our longest stretch of pooping only in the potty - 4 days. Which doesn't sound like a lot when we're talking a month of being dry, but that's kind of how this dry spell started.
We're going without the pull-up over her underpants so we'll see how it goes...
