Nora is starting to recognize some letters.  Her favorite is, of course, D for Daddy.  She can pick out M for Mommy and N for Nora, but she can't always remember what they're called so she'll sometimes call them D, as well.  She knows C is for Cookie and Chewbacca and J is for juice.  Oh, and B is for Beezley and bubbles.  There might be some others, but nothing comes to mind at the moment.

She's getting pretty good at recognizing colors, too, though not consistently.

I'm pretty impressed with all this.  I really have no idea what's normal for this kind of thing so maybe it's not impressive, but it's just cool to watch the development of it all regardless.

Don't you love watching them learn like that?! I can't wait to homeschool Marshall and be there for all of those "lightbulb" moments. One of the best perks of parenting in my opinion!

There is also O for owl, T for turtle, and U for up. I am personally impressed at how much she is starting to interact with the books we are reading.

Sounds like she is right about on target, for being the child of two very intelligent parents. :)

You know what is really awesome? When you have your second, and Nora teaches those things to him/her. Pretty cool.
