So I made a moronic move. I needed to move some money from our savings account into our checking account to pay our credit card bill, but I somehow managed to move it into Nora's account instead of our checking account. So I got notified by the bank that we had an insufficient funds fee.
Except I got two notifications today. Why? Well, yes, I made the first stupid error and I know that's totally my fault, but the first notification from the bank got sent to the wrong address. Thanks, U.S. Postal Service, for nothing. Oh, and for costing me a second $30 in insufficient funds fees because I didn't get the first notice in time to fix it before the second one happened.
In any case, I immediately move the money to its proper place and tried to pay the credit card bill online, but they don't know yet that it got bounced the second time so it won't let me pay it until that happens. The person I spoke to on the phone told me the same thing. I'm already getting a fee from them so I want to make sure the correct payment happens on time. Thankfully I still have a few days before the payment is actually due.
But this is all so very annoying. Boo.
