Nora is definitely not one of those babies that loses all her bad habits at daycare.  Oh well.

They're doing what they can to help her sleep on her back, but it's still pretty sporadic.  She's pretty tired when I pick her up, but she's kind of overstimulated, I think, because she doesn't want to nap when she gets home.  She does normally take a short power nap in the evening, but she just won't go down for that on daycare days.  Considering she needs it even more on those days, I find it kind of ironic.  So she's been going to bed a smidge earlier instead and she still sleeps until 7:30 the next morning.

And she seems to make up for it when she's home.  She passed out for her first nap this morning earlier than usual and didn't fuss even once as she proceeded to sleep soundly for three hours.  Nice.

Then there's the eating.  She is such a pain in the ass to feed sometimes because she can be so distracted, but John and I have developed little tricks to get past that so she eats 7-9 oz, four times a day, for us.  She has two bottles at daycare and they're having a tough time figuring out her quirks and getting her to eat that much when she's there.  She isn't going hungry at all so that's not really a concern.  But I'm just trying to make sure she's getting her 30-32 oz a day.  They generally can get her to take the bare minimum of what I'd like her to have when she's there, but yesterday she only took 11 oz the whole day.  She did make up for it at home, eating 11 oz all at once before going to bed last night.

Well, it's only two days a week and we'll all get the hang of it.  They adore her, of course.  I know they are taking care of her just fine.  She has fun and even did artwork yesterday.  They said she seemed very unsure of the whole fingerpainting thing.  How cute.  hee hee
