Like we need more crap right now
Jan. 8th, 2007 03:03 pmJohn opted to go to the urgetn care place yesterday morning. They weren't convinced it's strep, but he's on penicillin. Meanwhile, everything else is bugging him now other than his throat. I blame the stupid cold medicine situation since we no longer have a winning combination.
He was coughing up a storm last night so he opted to break out the Aerobed and crash in the office. He complained to me that he got very cold. I was still snuggled up in bed as he made this complaint, so I didn't notice it, but as soon as I got up, I did declare it to be extra cold. This being the first cold day of the winter, though, I didn't think a whole lot of it. But when I went down to workout, the floor did seem a little on the chilly side, so I checked out the thermostat and our house was at 63 degrees for some reason, when it should have been at 68. Hmmm.
Yeah, so the furnace has decided to be weird today. I suppose it could have been weird for a while and we just didn't notice because it hasn't been cold out. If we turn the switch off and then back on again, it tries to light, but something is making it shut automatically off. It tries this a few times and then finally calls it quits. The whole thing is weird. Dad is stopping by to check it out later.
Seriously, we don't need this right now.
Grr. Must now go eat extra carbs for stupid test tomorrow.
